To evaluate the air ventilation of workrooms in basement floor of Chonnam University Hospital building, a survey on the volumes of fresh air supplied, stream of air flow and concentrations of CO and CO2 gas in the work rooms was performed.
1. The mean volume of fresh air supplied was 1.41m3 per m3 of space an hour, the largest, 4.15m3 At of pharmacy (No.14) and the smallest, 0.35m3 art of store room (No.6), which volumes were large enough to meet the volume of ventilation required of each room.
2. The air velocities and concentrations of CO, CO2 at check points were all within the allowable limits except the air velocities in main corridor.
